And if lounging in the sun ever gets old (unlikely), there’s plenty more to do: a private cinema, stargazing nights, and water sports like kitesurfing.

This five-star haven is ideal for honeymooners looking for romance, but thanks to its great food options and family-friendly vibe, it’s also perfect for groups of friends and families. So, if you’re ever wondering where to go next you’ve got your first option lined up and ready to go!

Rooms & Suites – 9/10

The resort has 169 suites and villas, housed in charming, traditional-style buildings nestled along the beach and among palm-filled gardens. No need to worry about walking far — you can hop on one of the resort’s chic pink golf carts for a quick ride to wherever you need to go.

There are 15 room categories, starting with the Junior Suite King and going all the way up to the ultra-luxurious Grand Beachfront Villa, which comes with its own private chef and butler. You can choose between ground-floor rooms for easy beach or garden access, or opt for an upper-level suite with a balcony if you prefer more privacy.

All rooms come with a sofa bed (so they sleep up to three), and interiors are creatively designed in soft neutral tones, with wood or tile floors and bathrooms featuring both a bath and a separate shower. For something extra special, seven suites are located in an elegant manor house, complete with a grand staircase, a cozy reading room, and spa-style bathtubs.

Food & Drink – 8/10

Start your morning with a generous and perfectly cooked buffet breakfast at Le Manoir Dining Room, or if you’re feeling extra relaxed, enjoy room service in the comfort of your suite. For lunch, treat yourself to one of the beautifully crafted Japanese bento boxes from Atsuko — they can even be delivered by your butler to wherever you’re lounging on the resort or in your suite.

As the sun sets, the beach becomes the place to be. With the orange sun setting right in front of you there’s a lively atmosphere with a DJ, champagne sabering (yes, they open bottles with a sword), and refreshing rosé cocktails. For dinner, sample the flavors of Mauritius with a shared tasting menu back at Le Manoir, or head to Indya for a creative take on Indian cuisine — including a ten-course vegetarian tasting menu that’s packed with flavor. Later in the evening, Le Morne Lounge often hosts live music and dancing, making it a great way to wrap up the day!
